Ceramics: Pilsner Dragon by Zanne Ceramics: Pilsner Dragon by Zanne
Wow, it's been a while since I've added anything; so I'd better get on the ball. :)

As most people have figured out by now, just by looking at my gallery, I love fantasy.

Those who know me better, know that I like to drink good things once in a while.

So, what better way to show my love of both, than a dragon-headed pilsner glass? I ask you. :D

Despite appearances, this glass is actually quite functional; I use it often, and it works quite well! Obviously, due to the fact that the base is high-fire ceramic, care is taken to ensure that those horns stay intact. I don't recommend using a glass like this at some raucous bruhaha. ;)

High-fire Willamette White ceramic clay with iron oxide rubbing and Shino-mixed green high-fire glaze. Accented with garnet and amethyst. Altered Oneida stemmed pilsner glass.

Approx. 7 inches tall.

A fine job indeed. The worn look of the paint works great for a dragon. Great attention o detail.

Thank you very much! I've always liked the look of the oxide rubs. :)
